As temperatures begin to drop, we are proud to partner with Matt's office to support the Coats for Kids Wisconsin Coat Drive. Through October 29, we're collecting new and gently used coats to help children and families throughout Fond du Lac County stay warm this winter.

If you have coats your family has outgrown that are still in good condition, please consider donating them. A simple donation can have a meaningful impact on a local child in need.

Families seeking assistance can sign up through the Coats for Kids Wisconsin program to receive coat donations. Any additional coats collected will be distributed to local schools, helping ensure students have access to warm winter clothing throughout the season.

Donations can be dropped off in the collection bin located at the front entrance of our office through October 29.

Together, we can make a difference and help keep children across Fond du Lac County warm, comfortable, and ready to thrive this winter.

What's been cooking lately?

Kolina enjoys spending time in the kitchen when she's not working with clients. Lately, she's been having fun trying new recipes, experimenting with different flavors, and occasionally discovering a new favorite dish.

Cooking reminds me a lot of financial planning. Both require patience, preparation, and a willingness to adjust along the way. The best results rarely happen by accident.

Supporting a Cause That Matters in Our Community

This past Saturday, our Fond du Lac community came together for the Walk to End Alzheimer's, an event dedicated to raising awareness and funding for Alzheimer's care, support, and research. While our office was unable to attend this year, we were proud to be represented by a great group of our Edward Jones colleagues.

At Edward Jones, we believe being part of a community means showing up for the causes that impact the lives of our neighbors, friends, clients, and families. Alzheimer's disease affects millions of people, and its impact extends far beyond the individual diagnosis, touching entire families and support networks.

Events like the Walk to End Alzheimer's serve as a powerful reminder of what can be accomplished when a community unites around a common purpose. Thank you to everyone who walked, volunteered, donated, and helped make this year's event a success.

💜 Together, we can continue raising awareness, supporting those affected, and working toward a future without Alzheimer's.

This month was a great reminder of that. Hannah moved into her new home, Kolina visited the iconic Dirty Dancing filming location in Virginia and attended a Seahawks game, and Stephanie enjoyed the Kane Brown concert in Nashville.

Different experiences, same purpose: using your resources to create meaningful memories and a life you love.

As both a daughter and a mom, I've realized a few things:
• My mom was right about more things than I'd like to admit.
• My daughter thinks she knows more than me (and she's right when it comes to animal facts, thanks Wild Kratts).
• And we are all slowly turning into our parents, apparently that's how the cycle continues. 😂

💡 Financial Planning Tip: One of the best gifts you can give the next generation isn't just money, it's financial confidence. Start talking about saving, spending, and investing early. The eye rolls may come now, but the lessons tend to stick later.

Happy National Daughters Day to my favorite daughter and to the woman who still helps me decorate and rearrange my furniture (whether or not I want her to). ❤️
