Summer has officially arrived.

(I disagree but Kaci doesn’t) One of the things I love most about this season is how quickly the calendar fills up. Family vacations, baseball games, camping trips, cookouts, lake days, and evenings spent outside a little longer than usual.
It’s also a reminder of how quickly life moves.

As a husband and father, I find myself thinking less about things and more about people. The older my kids get, the more I realize that protecting the people we love isn’t something we put off until next year.

This month I’ll be sharing thoughts about protecting what matters most, building a legacy for our families, and helping our community thrive.

For now, get outside, soak up some sunshine, and make some memories.

Wow… May flew by.

One minute we were talking about spring finally showing up in Wisconsin and now somehow school is wrapping up, gardens are growing, calendars are packed, and summer is already knocking at the door.

This month was full in the best kind of way. Family dinners outside, baseball and soccer nights, planting gardens, chasing goals, building businesses, serving clients, community events, and trying to soak in the little moments in between all the chaos.

Life moves fast. Faster than we think sometimes.

At Thrivent Lakefront Group, we believe success isn’t just measured in numbers. It’s measured in time with your people, memories made, lessons passed down, and building a life that actually matters when the busy seasons come and go.

Here’s to slowing down a little this summer, being intentional with our time, and appreciating the life we’re working so hard to build. ☀️

There’s something about building a life with your hands that just feels different.

This season has been full of long evenings outside, dirt on our shoes, kids running through the yard, and soaking up every bit of sunshine we can before another Wisconsin winter eventually rolls back around.

This space didn’t happen overnight. Kaci’s vision and her husband's ability to somehow build every wild idea she comes up with turned a simple grass space into something that feels like home. A place for growing food, slowing down, teaching the kids, gathering together, and remembering that some of the best moments in life cost absolutely nothing.

At Thrivent, we talk a lot about investing in what matters most. Sometimes that looks like financial planning. Sometimes it looks like planting roots, building memories, and making time for the people sitting around your table.

May has been a reminder to step outside, enjoy the sun, work hard, and be present with the people you love most. ☀️🌱
