Weekends are never the same, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

From watching my son grind it out on the baseball field, to connecting with people at Quattro Goombas, to running into a first-time homebuyer we helped years ago, this weekend was a reminder of why I love what I do.

He shared that the experience he had with our team buying his first home helped inspire him to become a financial advisor. He remembered how we made him feel at ease, answered his questions, and took care of him during such a big life moment.

That’s what this business is really about.

Not just loans. Not just transactions.

It’s relationships, guidance, and being someone people can come back to when life changes.

Today’s example being divorce.

I met Sarah at a coffee shop after she overheard me talking about financing. At the time, her biggest concern was figuring out where she and her kids were going to live, while keeping them in the right school district.

Fast forward 40 days, and we were able to help her get into a new home with 0% down and manageable credit. More importantly, she had a place to call home, a fresh start, and a plan in place to keep improving her credit over time.

Situations like this are exactly why I do what I do. Life can change quickly, and sometimes you just need someone who will sit down with you, listen, and help you figure out what options are actually possible.

Today’s example being debt.

I met Jonathan, a realtor, through my weekly pickup basketball group. After he shared more about a property he had that was going through a difficult stretch, it immediately made me think of Claudia, one of my pre-approved clients.

Within 24 hours, I was able to connect Claudia and Jonathan. They moved quickly, closed on the home, and created a win-win situation. The seller was able to move forward, and Claudia received a credit that helped her purchase the home and pay off her debt.

This was such a meaningful story because both people were already within my circle, and I’m grateful I was able to connect them in a way that bettered both of their situations.

Sometimes, the right connection can make all the difference.

Today’s example being diapers.

I helped a lovely couple, Jeff and Charlene, purchase their first home a little less than a year ago. Not long after, Jeff received orders to relocate to a different base down south.

One of his biggest concerns was not having the funds to move his family into another home so soon. By utilizing his VA loan benefit with 0% down, I was able to help them move forward while only needing to plan for closing costs. This allowed them to preserve more of their cash, make the move, and replenish some of their savings.

This is exactly why I love helping military families understand the options available to them.
