🚨 BANK SCAMS ARE GETTING SCARIER — AND YOUR CALLER ID CAN’T BE TRUSTED!

Scammers are impersonating banks and credit card companies, using spoofed caller ID to make it look like your actual financial institution is calling. 😳

Here are some of the biggest red flags:

💳 “Your account has been compromised!” — They claim someone is making suspicious purchases and pressure you to act immediately.

🚗 The “bank courier” scam — They tell you your card has been hacked and claim someone is being sent to your home to collect it.

🔐 The verification trap — They ask for your full card number, CVV, password, or a one-time verification code.

⚠️ Here’s what you need to know: Your bank will NOT send someone to your home to collect your credit card, debit card, or cash. And you should never give a caller a verification code sent to your phone.

If you get a suspicious call, hang up. Then call the number on the back of your card yourself.

And if someone actually shows up at your door demanding your cards or money, DO NOT hand anything over.
