A full-circle story at 10 Manse Ct. 🏠🤭
This c.1930 Dutch Colonial in Warwick’s beloved Gaspee neighborhood has now been part of three chapters of homeownership — and I’ve had the privilege of being involved in all of them.
Back in 2016, my first-time buyers Caleb & Brittany purchased the home from owners who had lived there for 44 years. At the time, it needed a major refresh: an aging roof, original kitchen and baths, and plenty of projects ahead. But they saw the potential and poured years of care and skill into transforming it.
Five years later, with a growing family and a move to Barrington to be closer to loved ones, I helped them sell the home for roughly double their original purchase price.
Fast forward to 2026, and the home had evolved even further — beautifully updated kitchen and bathrooms, a larger primary bedroom with deck access, second-floor laundry, plus new windows, roof, heating system, and fencing. The tradeoff? It became a spacious 2-bed, 1.5-bath instead of a 3-bedroom home.
We timed the listing to coincide with the spring bloom, and the property truly shined. The result: 7 strong offers and a smooth match between my sellers and the wonderful first-time buyers represented by Allison Dessel of Mott & Chace — who was a joy to work with throughout the process.
Big thanks as well to lender Sally Herreid at Mortgage Equity Partners for helping make it happen.
Congratulations to these first-time homeowners on a special home in a special neighborhood — just in time for the Gaspee Days Parade season! ✨
