We were proud to see First Independence Bank represented at the 31st Annual in ! 👏🏾

Kimberly Haney, Deputy Chief Credit Officer at First Independence, joined an engaging panel discussion at McCormick Place during this powerful celebration of Black women, leadership, education, and community.

As a panelist for “The Wealth Playbook: Building Businesses, Securing Capital, and Creating Legacy,” Kimberly shared her expertise on lending, credit, access to capital, and the importance of strong banking relationships in helping entrepreneurs build, grow, and thrive.

The conversation resonated with attendees and provided another opportunity to share the First Independence story, including the significant milestone of becoming the third-largest Black-owned bank in the nation.

We were grateful to Business Leadership Council and CEO Keiana Barrett for the opportunity and looked forward to continuing these important conversations through future engagement and educational programming.
