Big changes are on the horizon for how property appraisals are completed, and a little preparation can go a long way!
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are transitioning to a new appraisal format designed to improve the quality, consistency, and usefulness of property information used to determine a home’s value.

To help make the process a little smoother, I have a simple, one-page appraisal prep sheet you can fill out with your sellers and provide to the appraiser. It takes about 5 minutes to complete and helps ensure important property details don’t get overlooked.
Less missing information, fewer headaches, and hopefully a smoother appraisal process! 🙌
