Nine years of you! We truly don’t know what we would do without you. ❤️

Sabrina, you are so much more than our COO, you are a constant source of kindness, encouragement, laughter, and love to everyone around you. You have such a genuine heart for people, and it shows in everything you do. You are the person who makes others feel seen, valued, supported, and cared for, and that is such a special gift.

Over the past nine years, you have poured so much of yourself into this team and into the people who make up the Brent Hershey State Farm family. Your dedication, compassion, and willingness to always show up for others have made such a lasting impact. We are incredibly lucky to have someone who leads with both strength and heart. ❤️

Today we celebrate 12 years of Brent Hershey State Farm….but more importantly, we celebrate the person behind it all.

For 12 years, Brent has built more than a business. He’s built a place where people matter. His heart for others has been at the center of everything he does, whether that means showing up for a family going through a difficult season, supporting a local organization, investing in a young athlete, celebrating someone’s accomplishments, and being the best insurance agent we know.

If you’ve known Brent over the years, you know that giving back isn’t something he does for recognition…it’s simply who he is. He has a genuine love for people and for the communities he serves, and that has been woven into this journey from day one.

Twelve years means countless conversations, friendships, opportunities, community events, sponsorships, celebrations, challenges, and people whose lives have been touched along the way.

There’s something really special about being able to give back to the places that helped shape you. ❤️

As a proud Ridgeview alum, Brent is incredibly thankful for the opportunity to continue supporting his hometown school and be a small part of celebrating such a special milestone!

We are honored to help Ridgeview Christian School celebrate 50 years, by donating towards these special 50th Anniversary stickers.

And there’s an extra-special connection in this story…

Our marketing coordinator, Chelsea, is also a Ridgeview kid…Brent first met Chelsea when she was just an elementary school student and he was a high schooler at Ridgeview. Fast forward all these years later, and she is now a faithful part of the Brent Hershey State Farm team. ❤️

It’s pretty incredible to look back and see how God was putting pieces together long before we ever knew what He had planned. He truly works all things together perfectly, even when we’re young and have no idea what the future holds.

Brent recently had the chance to meet Hogan Lambeth, one of the owners of Conviction Coffee, and we’re excited to see this new local business become part of the Fincastle community!

Located inside the historic Old Botetourt County Jail, Conviction Coffee is bringing a unique new coffee experience to the area. Hogan and Lindsay Lambeth have created a welcoming, family-friendly space where you can enjoy classic espresso drinks, locally roasted coffee, and a pastry while spending time with friends and neighbors.

And we love seeing local businesses supporting local businesses! Conviction Coffee serves coffee roasted by Gladheart Coffee Roasters in Roanoke, pastries from Breadcraft Bakery, and features beautiful greenery from True Vine Houseplants right here in Fincastle.

There’s even a children's play area, making it a spot the whole family can enjoy!

As a local business ourselves, we know how much it means to have a community that supports entrepreneurs who are willing to dream, invest, and build something special right here at home.

We said goodbye to our summer intern Paul, as he is heading back to Va Tech. Paul was a blessing to each person on our team and each of the customers he interacted with. We hope he joins us again next summer!
Don’t worry though, we are sending him off with a special gift, as Brent was able to secure a coveted Olive Garden all you can eat pasta pass in Paul’s name.
Only 10,000 were issued and hundreds of thousands of people tried, we are stoked we were able to make it happen for him!!
We look forward to Paul remembering our team this semester with every plate of pasta he eats!
