We are incredibly honored to recognize the recipients of the 2026 “Heart of an Eagle” Scholarship at Roanoke Valley Christian Schools. 🦅❤️

For the second year, we have had the privilege of presenting this scholarship to students who exemplify the Eagle values of Excellence, Accountability, Gratitude, Love, Example, and Service.

Originally, we planned to award two $1,500 scholarships. But after learning more about the remarkable students nominated by teachers, leaders, and peers, narrowing it down became nearly impossible. One student even asked not to be considered so another student could receive the opportunity…a selfless act that truly embodied the spirit of this award.

Because of the incredible character shown by this year’s nominees, we expanded the program to award FOUR $1,000 scholarships.

We had the best time getting dressed up and enjoying a fun night out together at the Best of Roanoke event at the Exchange!
Between all the yummy food tastings, great music, and lots of laughs, it was such a fun evening spent together as a team.

We’re so thankful for moments like these where we can step away from the office, relax, and just enjoy each other’s company. Nights like this remind us how lucky we are to work with such a great group of people…we love our BHSF Fam❤️

Supporting our local schools, students, teachers, and community is something that means so much to our team at Brent Hershey State Farm. We are thankful for the opportunity to partner with and give back to the communities we serve every day.

A huge thank you to Botetourt County Schools and the VSBA for this recognition. We truly appreciate it and look forward to continuing to support public education and the amazing people who make a difference in the lives of our children each day ❤️

We are incredibly proud to recognize the recipients of the Brent Hershey State Farm Unsung Hero Scholarship at James River High School!

Congratulations to this year’s $1,500 scholarship winners, Aaron Petty and Madison Muncey!

Aaron was recognized for his genuine kindness, contagious personality, and the positivity he brought to those around him throughout his high school journey. His involvement in Drama and Band, along with the encouragement he showed others, truly made an impact.

Madison was honored for her leadership, compassion, and willingness to always step up and support others. As FCA president, she has led with kindness and strength while making a difference in the lives of those around her.

The Unsung Hero Scholarship was created to celebrate students who may not always seek the spotlight but consistently make their schools and communities better through character, leadership, and heart.

Congratulations again to Aaron and Madison! We can’t wait to see all the amazing things ahead for both of you. ❤️
