The Grand Prize: The winner receives an Ice Cream Sandwich Party Pack, which includes up to 50 ice cream sandwiches served from the Smooshed mobile trailer for two hours.Citation 1
Entry Methods:
Free Ticket: One free entry is available by asking at the trailer window; no purchase is necessary.Citation 1
Purchase Ticket: Earned by making a purchase at the window; there is no limit on these tickets.Citation 1
Donation Ticket: Earned by making a voluntary donation to local causes supported by the trailer.Citation 1
Limit: There is a maximum of three tickets allowed per transaction.Citation 1
Drawing and Scheduling:
The drawing will take place on October 31, 2026.Citation 1
The winner must be 18 or older to schedule the event (or have a parent/guardian do so if the winner is a minor).Citation 1
The event must be scheduled for the 2027 season (April 1 – October 15, 2027), and the date must be chosen by January 31, 2027.Citation 1
Location Restrictions: The event must be located within 50 miles of the USPS Blue Ridge Post Office (3521 Blue Ridge Blvd, Blue Ridge, VA 24064). Travel is free for the first 20 miles, and locations between 21 and 50 miles will incur a travel fee of up to $75.Citation 1
Site Requirements: The winner must provide a flat, solid surface for the trailer, but the trailer is self-contained and does not require external water or power hookups.Citation 1
Prize Terms: The prize has no cash value, cannot be substituted, and is limited to the 50 sandwiches specified. Additional sandwiches can be purchased at standard vendor rates. The winner must claim their prize within 72 hours of notification.

Star City Burger Company
We were so excited to go out and support our friend Peyton Haston and his Star City Burger Company food truck.

I’ve known Peyton since he and Tanner started playing basketball in 5th grade. This kid has an incredible work ethic and isnt sitting back waiting on something good to happen to him…. He’s making things happen himself!

Peyton is a Roanoke County police officer. He has a lawn business and now owns a food truck! If that’s not enough to make you want to go check him out, let me tell you about his burgers!

First, I have to admit I am not a smash burger fan…. (Peyton has changed my mind) So I wasnt excited to hear about a smash burger truck. Peyton told me it was all about the beef. He was right!! This isn’t some patty they bought from a box store. They use the best, Yardbull Beef. They are hand weighed and rolled into a ball to await their turn on the griddle. Peyton smashes these things down to paper thin and they get that griddle lace on them.

These burgers get served with a few pickles and this sauce……. This sauce….. yea, Im talking about the sauce. It’s like liquid gold. It’s the nectar of the Burger Gods! It is absolutely perfect for this burger, or fries, or steak, or chicken, or pancakes, or ice cream…. Get the point? You could take a bath in this stuff!!!!!!

Question is, why are you still reading this?!?! Go find Star City Burger and eat!! Follow them, stalk them just go get a burger and eat! But understand you are not just eating a burger. You’re supporting an outstanding young man who has chosen to build something great! Best of luck Peyton!
