Across New Hampshire, businesses, policymakers and community organizations are working together to expand access to affordable, reliable child care through innovative partnerships, tax credits and policy reforms. Investing in child care is essential to providing economic opportunities for families and supporting economic growth across the Granite State.

Businesses invest heavily in recruiting talented employees. Increasingly, employers are recognizing child care as a key component of a business-friendly New Hampshire, alongside housing, energy infrastructure and broadband.

The North Country Community Recreation Center is leveraging CDFA Tax Credits to enhance year-round recreation and wellness opportunities for North Country residents. The project will expand access to health, fitness and community programming while creating an inclusive gathering space that serves all ages.

A recreation center is taking root and expanding in the heart of Colebrook.

Historic Harrisville, Inc. is transforming the final undeveloped portion of its historic mill complex into a pub, pizza restaurant and gathering space. Supported by CDFA tax credits, the project will preserve a historic landmark, attract visitors, create jobs and add new energy to the local economy.

A tax credit award from the Community Development Finance Authority is set to help Historic Harrisville finish its long-running work to restore the town's historic mill to active use.
