When you’re deployed, every part of your pay matters.

Take a few minutes to review your Leave and Earnings Statement (LES) so you fully understand what your combat pay includes and how it adds up.

One of the highlights of our Annual Advisor Conference was the opportunity to play golf at the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Standing on a course surrounded by the mountains, it was hard not to appreciate the perspective that comes from being in a place built around discipline, preparation, teamwork and service.
It also made me think about the parallels to being a financial advisor.
Golf is a game of strategy. You have to know where you want to go, understand the course in front of you, make the best decision with the information you have, and sometimes adjust when things don’t go exactly as planned.
Financial planning is much the same.
Every client has a different starting point, different goals and a different vision for what “success” looks like. Our job isn’t to hit the same shot for everyone- it’s to help each person develop a strategy that gives them the best opportunity to get where they want to go.
And just like golf, the goal isn’t perfection. It’s having a plan, staying focused and making the next shot count.
Grateful for the opportunity to enjoy a great day on an incredible course—and even more grateful for a profession that allows us to help people pursue the life they’ve worked so hard to build.

Had a great time attending the 2026 Retirement Appreciation Day at Camp Johnson. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with retirees and learn about the many organizations dedicated to supporting the military community.

I also enjoyed catching up with my friend, Racheal Ryan, who was there representing Cornerstone Caregiving. Events like these bring together professionals from a variety of organizations and backgrounds, creating opportunities to share ideas and better understand the resources available to military members, veterans, retirees, and their families.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make it a great event.

Today Kasey and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary. ❤️

Like any successful financial plan, a strong marriage is built on trust, communication, commitment, and adapting to life's changes along the way.

I'm grateful for all the memories we've made together and excited for what the future holds. Today is a reminder that the most important investments we make aren't always financial. Sometimes they're the people we choose to share life with.

Happy Anniversary Kasey! 🥂
