October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and a reminder of the importance of care, research and support for everyone affected by this disease. 💗

The Palmetto Citizens Foundation recently donated $20,000 to local breast centers - $10,000 each through the Prisma Health Midlands Foundation and Lexington Health Foundation to support their work caring for people in our community.

Since 2001, Palmetto Citizens has proudly supported this important cause and through our Foundation, we’re continuing that commitment.

Thank you to the teams at both breast centers for the care, compassion and hope you provide to patients and their families every day.

For 90 years, serving our communities has been at the heart of Palmetto Citizens. That includes supporting the incredible local organizations that help our neighbors and make our communities stronger.

Our Palmetto Citizens Foundation is building on that commitment with Fuel the Change, a 100 Hours of Giving campaign. Donations to five selected nonprofits will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $20,000 per organization - a total of $100,000 in matching support!
