Today, we welcomed a record four summer interns to the Main Street Team!

They will be spending the next 11 weeks with our agency and will spend time in each department. We can’t wait to share more of their journey with you this summer.

Saturday was full of 🙂JOY🙂

Our Main Street Team attended the annual Walk for Joy to support Channing’s Joy, an organization that means so much to our firm.

The young man in the first picture is Mr. Channing himself. Channing is 9 years old and was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder in 2018. He also happens to be the son of our President, Chad Flack, and grandson of our CEO, Tripp Flack--which makes him very special to us.

We walked 1.36 miles in recognition of the 1 in 36 children diagnosed with autism, and our team raised $3,000 to support the cause! The event overall raised $202,000! We are grateful to play a small part in this incredible event.

The Channing's Joy Foundation was founded in 2022 by Channing's mama, Lauren. The foundation is dedicated to promoting inclusion and acceptance of autism and all individuals with special needs.

Thriving teams make time to have fun together, and that's exactly what our Employee Benefits Team did recently.

Our Producers, Account Managers, Account Executives, Member Engagement Team, and Clinical Team convened in Charlotte for professional development and relationship building.

The Team attended a Charlotte Hornets game and soaked up the opportunity to be together in person.

On Saturday, April 18th, our firm will be supporting a charity that is near and dear to our hearts.

Channing’s Joy is hosting its 3rd Annual Walk for Joy where participants will walk 1.36 miles in support of the 1 in 36 children diagnosed with autism each year.

This event benefits The Channing's Joy Foundation, and all funds raised will go to support families with autistic children and/or adults. Channing’s Joy was started by our President Chad Flack and his wife Lauren Shuping Flack in honor of their son Channing who was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder in 2018.

Our “Main Street Coverage Team” is raising $1,500 for our team goal. If you feel moved to give, we would be honored to have your support.

Thank you, Westfield Insurance, for hosting a fabulous agent event this week in Knoxville. Joleen and Brittany enjoyed the 1:1 time with Personal Lines Executives and Brennan Henderson, our incredible underwriter.

After the "work" part of the event, everyone enjoyed bowling. Our very own Brittany won this fantastic custom bowling pin!

Fostering genuine relationships with our carrier partners is a core value at Main Street Insurance Group. We're thankful for the opportunity to deepen our relationships with Westfield.

Thank you, Appalachian State University for allowing us to attend your Career Fair!

Jordan Boyd and Davis Horne represented us well as they shared the Main Street story and looked for our next class of summer interns. They also got to visit with one of last year's summer interns, Oliver, at the networking social. It was a productive day!

Springtime is philanthropy time for many of the communities in which we live and work. Our team attended multiple events this weekend supporting causes we deeply care about!

Thank you, Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce and Pye Barker for hosting the first lunch and learn of the year. We talk a lot about sprinkler systems and fire protection with our Commercial clients, and it was great to hear an update on codes, inspection schedules, and more from these educated professionals. Well done! 👏🏻🚫🔥
