🎃 Sherry’s Pumpkin Patch was OPEN FOR BUSINESS last night, and apparently 😂 our team understood the costume assignment!

We traded mortgage files for pumpkin patches, got a little spooky, and had an absolute BLAST at the McCollum Law PC 👻 Spooktacular!

Huge shoutout to Jonathan McCollum & Sonia Dubois-VanNatter for putting together such a fun event! We seriously have the BEST real estate community, and nights like these remind us that while we all work hard, we need to make time to PLAY hard, too!

Dreaming of a 🏡 home with a little more room to spread out? A house with 🌳 acreage can be a little different when it comes to financing!

For Fannie Mae loans, the appraisal needs to consider the entire property, 👉 not just the house and a small portion of the land. Things like zoning, acreage, and resale potential can all play a role.

🏡 Buying a home here, but some of your savings are sitting in 🌎 another country? It's absolutely worth having a conversation before moving that money!

For certain conventional loans, overseas funds can be used, BUT there's a paper trail we'll need to follow, including converting the funds to U.S. dollars, transferring them to an eligible U.S. financial institution, AND documenting where they came from.
