This is the official WECU page. After more than 80 years, we know a thing or two about banking. But what we also know is that trust is built over time – transaction by transaction and member by member. We’re local, and that’s never going to change. Neighbor to neighbor, that’s banking at its best.

In observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day, WECU is closed today, Monday, October 12.

As we honor this day, we're proud to spotlight the Lhaq'temish-ew'xw e tse XwLemi' (House of Healing) at Western Washington University.

Created in partnership with Indigenous students, tribal leaders, and community supporters, this Coast Salish-style longhouse is a place for gathering, learning, cultural exchange, and healing.

In 2022, WECU proudly contributed $25,000 toward the project's construction, helping support a space that celebrates Indigenous culture, strengthens belonging, and creates opportunities for future generations. 💙

International Credit Union Day is about celebrating what makes credit unions different: people helping people.

This year, we’re teaming up with other local credit unions to make an even bigger impact in our community. We kicked things off at the Tri-Parish Food Bank, spending the day sorting food and helping get resources where they’re needed most.
