Calling all service-providers! While you enjoy the last few days of December, make sure to save these necessary steps to help save that tax-time scramble! 👇

💥Send those invoice reminders in QuickBooks Online and follow up w/ clients

💥If an S-Corp, consider whether owner employees have taken reasonable salaries (as deferrals have to be made before year-end)

💥Download all monthly bank, credit card, and loan statements for the year to store digitally (keep on hand in case of an audit)

💥Organize receipts & catch-up on bookkeeping

💥Check in with your bookkeeper & tax preparer so they can coordinate with each other (& make any adjusting entries, if necessary)

💥Complete December’s reconciliation & close out the year’s books (most of the time, owner’s equity accounts will close to retained earnings); I like to then secure with a password in QuickBooks Online

💥Make sure all of your W-9s have been collected

💥Make a list of 1099s to complete and file by their upcoming due date (1099-NECs are due by January 31st)

👉Taking these pro-active steps will give you a jumpstart at your 2024 goals. Drop an emoji below describing how else you’ll spend your extra time!

If you could find clarity with your numbers, how might you use them to propel your business forward?

💥You’d have clear cash flow insight to make hiring decisions BEFORE paralyzing burnout sets in

💥You’d strategize about which profitable services to keep or which ones to launch at a later time

💥You’d already have that beginning-of-the-year budgeting accountability instead of rushing (and forking out MORE money) for a last-minute tax-prep cleanup.

This Facebook review is from Ashley, owner of Oak and Maven, a Virtual Assistant Agency. It was such an honor to help her find clarity in her numbers!

👉Let me know below: with better clarity, would you use for STRATEGY or HIRING first?

It’s that time again, but WHY pay estimated tax payments at all?

If you are a self-employed entrepreneur raking in income without putting some of it aside for taxes, you could end up with hefty tax bill shock in the Spring.

Estimated tax payments ensure you’re pre-paying your taxes throughout the year and really are your proactive tickets to peace of mind 💪.

Of course, as this is general advice, always check with your tax preparer for your specific tax situation.

Question: How can you get necessary bookkeeping help when you don’t have the income quite yet?

💥Don’t worry. I got you💥

Regardless of income, here’s how I make my bookkeeping services accessible to you:

OPTION 1: Schedule a Q&A Call
Get your burning bookkeeping questions promptly answered or receive some direction within QuickBooks Online during a session.

OPTION 2: Payment Plans
Many expenses all coming out on the 1st can quickly become overwhelming. I can offer a payment plan that it is more manageable for you.

OPTION 3: Quarterly Bookkeeping
Some bookkeeping tasks still need to be done monthly, but if you don’t want a monthly meeting to assess your financials at this time, a reduced rate can be offered.

👉Ready to see your finances more clearly? Still on the fence? Send me a DM so I can answer your questions!

Let’s dive into why year-round bookkeeping is ESSENTIAL to your business sustainability…

Tax Day has passed and you’re ready to put your books on the back burner for another year, but WAIT…
You are leaving MONEY on the table!

Consider these questions…

1️⃣ What services or products are generating the most revenue?

2️⃣ How do your expenses compare to the revenue?

3️⃣ Are you coming in under or over budget this month?

4️⃣ How does your Profit and Loss compare to last month and last year?

5️⃣ Where can you improve your profit margins for next month?

👉If you cant answer these questions on any given day, how can you expect to grow or strategize effectively?

That’s where I can help to provide you:

💥PEACE OF MIND knowing your books will be cleaned up by a professional
💥RELIEF having bookkeeping off your plate so you can focus on your clients
💥FINANCIAL CONFIDENCE when your numbers are clearly explained to you during monthly/quarterly meetings
