In addition, we were excited to receive recognition for our partnerships with our adopted schools: Camino Real Elementary School, Creekside Middle School, and Red Rock Elementary School.

This week, our Banking Buddies learned that big dreams often start with small steps and small savings can grow into something big over time!

Students explored the importance of setting goals, making smart choices with their money, and developing habits that can help them reach future milestones. We also discussed valuable skills such as being a good listener, a problem solver, and a goal setter qualities that can help people make informed financial decisions.

And of course, every student went home with a piggy bank to start putting their new savings knowledge into action!

A huge thank you to Bastrop County Emergency Food Pantry & Support Center, Inc. for organizing such an amazing Summer Kick-Off Resource Fair and for inviting us to be part of it!

This event was a wonderful opportunity for families to learn about the many resources available throughout our community as they head into summer. We were excited to lead a financial literacy session for adults, host a reading session for children, and connect with families at our booth through games, conversations, and information about the products and resources available at FNBB.

Our students explored the world of banking by learning what it takes to become a Junior Teller through hands-on activities, teamwork, and interactive learning. Students practiced:
