A few days filled with big ideas, big energy, incredible entertainment, and even better people. From hearing inspiring stories and celebrating wins, to late nights, laughs, and a reminder of why we do what we do — NAC was a trip worth being out-of-office for a bit.

Now it’s back to Bastrop, back to the chaos of Mom-Wife-Boss life, and back to helping protect what matters most for our customers… but maybe with just a little less sleep and a few more Vegas stories.

Grateful for the opportunity, the friendships I’ve made with fellow agents, and the memories made along the way… and as always, grateful for my stellar team that held down the fort so that our customers continued to get the amazing service they deserve. We live in a beautiful (but fire-prone) area of Texas -- so being Wildfire Prepared is important!

A few simple things now can make a big difference later:

🔥Trim up your trees

Groundhog Day has arrived and once again, meteorologists all over the country may be grimacing as our furry forecaster takes center stage. Although he’s very cute and surly, Phil has maintained a 30% accuracy over the past decade. But we’re just here to report the facts—shadow or no shadow—not his merit as a meteorologist.

Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow today. If he’s right, keep those coats and gloves out and hunker down for another six weeks of winter weather. We’re pulling out the hot cocoa as we speak.
