RoaR was created for the purpose of promoting a socio-economic impact to distressed, under-banked and under-served inner city communities; community revitalization; community upliftment and community development opp
ortunities, through financial literacy education, affordable housing programs, direct community investments, financial services and affordable loan products. RoaR achieves its mission by promoting access to capital and local economic growth in the following ways:
1. Through its Community Development Program by directly investing in, supporting and training local nonprofits that provide social services, technical assistance, entrepreneurship and job training to under-served populations and communities;
2. Through its Affordable Housing Program by providing home-ownership seminars, affordable housing and affordable home loans to moderate income persons, which enable them to build real wealth that can be passed down generationally;
3. Through its Micro Lending Program by providing unsecured and asset based loans to individuals, local businesses and community based organizations; and
4. Through its Financial Literacy Education Program, by providing financial literacy curriculum to under-served communities.
