IIFG is pleased to announce our recent investment as lead investor in RBY Medical's Series A round.

RBY Medical is a medical device company that is developing the Sidetracker Redirectional Microcatheter to address the shortcomings of microcatheters in the placement of guidewires in more tortuous arteries in the coronary and peripheral anatomy. Guidewires are used in vascular surgeries, but current products prove difficult and time consuming for surgeons to pass through curved or angulated arteries. The Sidetracker ensures guidewire delivery to the desired location with unprecedented accuracy and ease.

RBY Medical is an Israeli startup that was founded by Dr. Bradley Strauss, an Interventional Cardiologist and Professor at University of Toronto. Dr. Strauss was also the former Chief of the Heart Program at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Center in Toronto. In his own practice, Dr. Strauss recognized the challenges of delivering guidewires to necessary treatment areas in the heart, and developed the Sidetracker to insert guidewires with ease and stability.

During these difficult times, wine sales at restaurants and wineries in Israel have come to a virtual standstill, so one way to support Israel is by buying Israeli wine.
