In observance of Memorial Day, our office will be closed Monday as we take time to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We are grateful for their service and sacrifice today and every day. Our office will reopen Tuesday during normal business hours.

This morning reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

One of our customers lost their home in a fire last night here in Amarillo.

This is the reality behind insurance. It’s not just paperwork, payments, or a policy people hope they never use. It’s protecting someone’s home, their belongings, and their ability to rebuild after something devastating happens.

Our agency takes coverage seriously because situations like this are real. This is why we have the hard conversations, ask the extra questions, and care so much about making sure people are properly covered before they ever need it.

This is why we do what we do.

Praying for everyone impacted by the fires near Canyon and for the first responders working tirelessly to protect our communities.

If you are evacuating, focus on the essentials first:
• Medications & medical equipment
• IDs, insurance cards & important documents
• Phones, chargers & wallets
• A few changes of clothes
• Pet supplies & food
• Keys, cash & necessities for kids

If time allows, take photos/videos of your home and belongings before leaving.

Most importantly, follow evacuation instructions and get out safely. Property can be replaced. People cannot.

As the weather gets warmer, more motorcycles are hitting the roads across the Texas Panhandle. A quick double-check before changing lanes or turning can make a bigger difference than most people realize.

Please slow down, stay alert, and help keep our roads safer for everyone traveling through Amarillo and beyond. 🏍️

Not to be dramatic but…

a safe car seat can literally change everything for a family.

And while a lot of parents are trying to figure out which car seat is best for their child, there are also families in our community trying to figure out how they’re going to afford one at all.

That’s one of the reasons we chose to partner with Safe Kids Potter & Randall Counties this month.

Through the end of May, every quote completed through our office helps support a program that provides child passenger safety education, resources, and even car seats for families who need them right here in our community.

If you’ve been thinking about reviewing your insurance anyway, we’d truly love the opportunity to help while also supporting something meaningful locally.

UPDATE: Megan has officially begun cooperating with investigators.

Current persons of interest include:
• people overpaying for insurance
• people who haven’t reviewed their policy in years
• and anyone whose agent says “you should be covered” without actually checking 😂
