There’s a lot of noise around it, but at the end of the day, it comes back to this. AI is just another tool,and if it’s used right, it helps us serve people better, not replace the relationship.

Strong winds are nothing new around the Panhandle, but they can cause more damage than expected. Before the next round of wind moves through, take a few minutes to check a few common trouble spots around your property.

• Secure outdoor furniture and trash cans
• Check fences and gates for anything loose
• Trim weak or overhanging tree branches
• Take a quick look at roof shingles and flashing

A little preparation now can save a lot of headaches later.

Xcel Energy has announced a Public Safety Power Shut Off beginning the morning of February 17 for portions of the Texas Panhandle as extreme fire weather and high winds create dangerous conditions.

Outages may last several hours or longer while crews inspect lines and ensure it is safe to restore power. Charge devices, plan for limited electricity, and take extra precautions over the next few days.
