We still have a couple of days to find a marketplace plan during Open Enrollment 2022, which ends this Saturday, January 15th!

As you prepare for the new year, ask yourself: what changed in my life over the past year? Past 5 years? Past 10 years? And where do I think I will be in the next year? Next 5 years? Next 10 years? We bought our current life insurance policies in 2011 when our triplet daughters were 1, and so much has changed since then! But we still have the same life policies in place. I know we need to update them to account for all the changes. Maybe you're in a similar situation: more kids, different house, different cars, different jobs. If so, I'd love to help. What's your favorite Christmas movie of all time?

"Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father." (James 1:17 NLT) Take some time today: thank God, be glad for, and cherish all the "gifts" (people, not just stuff) that God has given to you. And more importantly, while celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ our Messiah this week - He Who is the greatest gift ever given, also remember that God sent His Son (and all other gifts) for the same reason that you give gifts to those you love: "And we, out of all creation, became His prized possession." (James 1:18 NLT). Celebrate Jesus. Know without a doubt that YOU are loved by God. Love and give gifts to your people to show your love for them. And take time to enjoy your favorite traditions with those you cherish.

Annual tradition: lunch at the Fair! This year we took along our favorite son (yes, favorite AND only son). And we did indulge in a few tasty items!

When you go to the Fair for food, you typically know a few things:
1) Cost: You WILL overpay. (As with most things in life, remember: it's about the experience!)
2) Choice: Your options - although seemingly limitless, are the same at every 2nd or 3rd booth, and likely haven't changed much since last year.
3) Coverage: Turkey leg grease, TaterTwister toppings, Corndog ketchup (or mustard), and Funnelcake powdered sugar will get on your clothing.
4) Remorse: You will inevitably wish you had bought something different from a different booth, wonder where all of your money went, and think to yourself, "I probably shouldn't you hadn't eaten that!"
