In today's time of high cost, why is it that consumers have such a hard time when it comes to insurance shopping. The process with us is just not that difficult. BUT, sometimes,even when you find someone a great deal, they are still reluctant to make a change even after calling us.

Why is it hard?
1) It's Time Consuming.
2) It Feels Overwhelming.

When death occurs, it is never easy to deal with. When you have a client who has had their insurance with you for a total of 43 years, that's tough to take.

We were just notified that a client who started back in 1983 with Fifield Helm Insurance and then became a client of ours during the purchase of that agency in 2019 has passed.

That kind of loyalty is almost unheard of in todays world. People will change insurance because of $5.00. Go figure. If you know me, ask me to share that story with you. Its true and it did not end well for him after he changed.

We have many many clients who have been with us for many years. In fact, our average client stays with Simple Blessings longer than the industry average . There must be a reason for that.

Please be mindful of all the scams and dishonest activities going on now. We have had dear clients getting phone calls from places trying to convince them to make financial purchases that are truly not in the clients best interest.

Always remember, if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. Be careful who you trust with your insurance and financial needs.

If you are ever approached about changing your insurance or called on the phone with a bait and switch tactic, just hang up. Please do not give out any personal information.

I am happy to share that I have obtained the insurance designation of TRA, Trusted Risk Advisor. After 44 years of being in the insurance field, learning never stops. Just when you think you have the answers, they change the questions.

That's what makes the industry so frustrating, interesting and amazing all at the same time. With The TRA, this becomes my 6th designation and where does it stop?

Gofundme's are often the result of either not having proper auto, home ,business or life insurance or having none at all. Don't be that person. Making your family beg for money because you didn't adequately take care of your obligations is just wrong at so many levels.

Have you ever actually read your auto, home, business or church insurance policy? If not, you should. Do it before you have a claim. It's better to know what you are insured for instead of thinking you are.
