On Columbus Day, FNBNation gathered at the Academy Center of the Arts for our annual All-Employee Event! This year's theme was "FNB Heroes", and our own President & CEO Todd Hall led the charge dressed as his alter ego: Bankerman!

After a fun-filled business meeting and a wonderful lunch provided by Charley's Restaurant & Catering, FNBNation gave back by working in teams to assemble over 30 bicycles, which we donated to One Community One Voice Lynchburg, Virginia and the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Danville Area!

The good deeds didn't stop there: After lunch, Charley's delivered all our unserved hot meals to the real heroes at Lynchburg Fire Department Station 1!

Thank you to our hosts at the Academy, the catering staff at Charley's, and the folks from TeamBonding for bringing our team closer. Also, thanks to Shelly Edgerly from Alpha-Lit Smith Mountain Lake VA for our illuminated letters and Fancy Balloons by Julie Hill for the balloon decorations! You all helped make the day "super"!

If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend while supporting some great local organizations, consider coming out to support the Kiwanis Club of Lynchburg's 11th Annual ShrimpFest this Saturday, October 3, from 4:30–8 p.m. at the Boonsboro Ruritan Club, located at 1499 Coffee Road. First National is proud to sponsor this event!

Kiwanis is a global community service organization focused especially on supporting children and strengthening the local community, and ShrimpFest is one of its major annual fundraisers.

Tickets include all-you-can-eat fresh boiled North Carolina shrimp, sides, dessert, music, dancing, and a 50/50 raffle. B**r will also be available for purchase. Food will be served from 5–7 p.m.

Tickets:
• Adults/ages 12+: $40 in advance ($45 at the gate, if available)
• Ages 6–11: $15 in advance ($20 at the gate, if available)
• Ages 5 and under: Free
