🚨 FLORIDA HOMETOWN HEROES UPDATE 🚨

The wait is almost over for first time homebuyers!

🏡 Hometown Heroes funds are expected to be released on **July 13, 2026**, with the earliest projected closing date being **July 17th**. This program is for first time homebuyers.

💰 **$50 Million in funding has already been approved**, and we're gearing up now to help eligible buyers get ready before the rush begins.

Here's what we know so far:

✅ Occupational requirements will remain the same

✅ Florida Housing will be providing a checklist and training for self-employed borrowers to help determine eligibility — a huge win for many hardworking business owners and entrepreneurs!

✅ We are already pre-underwriting applications based on last year's guidelines so buyers can get a head start!

⚠️ Final program details and any rule changes are expected to be released in the coming weeks, and all applications will be subject to the updated guidelines once announced.
