The Australian property market is not down. It is divided.

Most Aussie expats are still reacting to national headlines, but national headlines do not buy the right asset.

Sydney is softening in parts. Melbourne has struggled for momentum. Perth, Brisbane and South East Queensland have been moving very differently. Recent market commentary continues to show a split between slower Sydney and Melbourne conditions and stronger mid sized capital performance, especially Perth and Brisbane.

That is not one market.

It is multiple markets, moving at different speeds, with different lending, tax, cash flow and asset selection implications.

Off the plan can be terrifying. Our client felt it. Our strategy and answers had them at ease.

Their parents had always said the same thing: buy a brick house that is already standing, something you can walk through.

So when they started looking at an off-the-plan build, every instinct told them to back away.
