Fosun International Limited (Stock Code: 656.HK) announced its FY2023 annual results on March 27, 2024. The Group’s total revenue was RMB198.2 billion, and profit attributable to owners of the parent was RMB1.38 billion was recorded.

At the results conference, Guo Guangchang, Chairman of Fosun International, emphasized that the main focus of the Group is to build a sustainable and predictable enterprise with stable profit growth. He also stressed that Fosun has evolved to focus on the development of its core business ("deep mining") and tapping into industries with high potential ("developing good mines"). He stated, “Looking ahead, amidst all uncertainties, we must rely on our own stronger capabilities and greater certainty to navigate challenges.”

On 18 August, Hong Kong’s first Chinese financial newspaper, Hong Kong Economic Journal (HKEJ) announced the list of companies with outstanding ESG performance on 18 August. Fosun International was awarded the “ESG Achievement Programme 2023” logo and certificate of appreciation by HKEJ, in recognition of the company's performance in environmental, social, governance and sustainable development, which has been recognized by the market.

Fosun will showcase the work of multimedia artist Eva Petrič as part of a thirteen-week artist residency at 28 Liberty, the iconic Lower Manhattan office tower. The installation will be projected on a 34-foot by 25-foot LED screen facing the landmarked Fosun Plaza and in the ground-level amphitheater.

🌏🌿Put Sustainability Into Action🌿🌏

On April 18, members of the various 🇸🇬Singapore-based Fosun teams engaged in a waterway cleanup activity to increase the awareness of what littering does to our immediate environment and how it contributes to climate change on a bigger scale.

🚣🏻🚣🏻‍♂️On kayaks, geared with gloves and a bucket, the members embarked on a 2-hour coastal cleanup along the Kallang Riverside.

☘️The activity was organized by Fosun Southeast Asian Regional Committee and conducted byWaterways Watch Society. With sustainable development a part of its ESG strategy, Fosun fully supports environmental initiatives and is glad to join force with Waterways Watch Society in contributing to society and saving the environment. 🌏
