Today, 30 April 2026, we have partnered with Malamulo Adventist Hospital to support the Solar Microgrid Project aimed at improving and stabilising power supply at the facility. The project, valued at K634 million, includes our contribution of K317 million, representing 50 percent of the total cost, towards ensuring reliable and sustainable energy for critical hospital operations.

Our Chief Operations Officer, Masauko Katsala, noted that the partnership reflects our commitment to supporting essential services, highlighting that reliable power is vital in saving lives and improving healthcare delivery. Receiving the support on behalf of Malamulo Adventist Hospital, Chief of Surgery Dr Brent Sherwin highlighted that the project will improve service delivery by reducing reliance on diesel, lowering costs, and protecting vital medical equipment.

Yesterday, 27 April 2026, we contributed MK10 million to Rotary District 9210 to support preparations for the Umodzi District Conference (DISCON 2026). Our Marketing and Corporate Affairs Manager, Akossa Hiwa (R), noted that the support reflects the Bank’s commitment to regional collaboration ahead of the event scheduled for 29 April to 3 May 2026.

Receiving the contribution on behalf of Rotary District 9210, Dr Peter Nkosi (L), Past District Governor’s Representative, highlighted that the funds will support the successful hosting of the District Conference, bringing together Rotarians from Malawi and across the region.
