Today, the Sunbird SACCO team proudly participated in an event organized by Malawi Federation of Cooperatives (MAFECO) at COMESA Hall.

Our participation aimed at showcasing the services and impact of Sunbird SACCO as we continue promoting a strong savings culture among Malawians.

The event provided a valuable platform to engage with different stakeholders, share knowledge on financial empowerment, and encourage individuals to embrace savings and responsible financial management for a better future.

34 YEARS OF MEMBERSHIP AT SUNBIRD SACCO

*Sunbird SACCO* celebrated its long-serving members during its 34th AGM held on 28th March, 2026 at Mount Soche Hotel. Among those recognized was Mrs. Nellie Mpoma, who has been a member of Sunbird SACCO for 34 years.

Sharing her experience, Mrs. Mpoma said:
"_Sunbird SACCO has helped me a lot through flexible loans with low interest rates. Through the SACCO, I have managed to build a modern house in my village and educate all my children. I encourage everyone never to quit the SACCO but instead attract more people to join. Take every opportunity, even when traveling in a minibus, to encourage someone to join the SACCO_"

The Guest of Honour, Mr. Bonface Mlowoka, reminded members about the importance of timely loan repayment and encouraged all employers to remit member monthly deductions to SACCO on time.
