Due to the forecast adverse weather conditions, the CIB office will be closed tomorrow morning, Friday 23 October, as a precaution.

Storm Austen is on its way - is your home prepared?

With strong winds and heavy rain forecast across Guernsey and Jersey, now is a good time to take a few simple precautions to help protect your home and belongings.

🟠 Secure outdoor items - Bring in or secure garden furniture, bins and anything that could blow away.
🟠 Check drains and gutters - Clear leaves and debris where safe to help prevent water building up.
🟠 Close windows and doors - Make sure everything is properly secured before the winds pick up.
🟠 Think about where you park - Avoid parking near trees, unstable walls or exposed coastal areas where possible.
🟠 Keep essentials handy - Have a torch, charged phone and important contact numbers available.

Most importantly, stay safe, keep an eye on local weather warnings and avoid unnecessary risks.

A little preparation now could help prevent damage later.

Turns out the horses scrub up pretty well for Ladies Day too! 🐎 Jersey Raceclub

A brilliant afternoon at Les Landes yesterday, with plenty of style both on and off the track - and it was great to have Olive there representing CIB and enjoying the day too.

Across the five races, we were delighted to support the **Best Turned Out Horse** award - recognising five beautifully presented horses and, just as importantly, the teams behind them who put in all the work to get them race-day ready.

⛳ What a fantastic day at the CIB Les Ormes Resort Open on Saturday 11 July!

It was great to see so many people enjoying a brilliant day of golf, with a fantastic atmosphere from start to finish.

A huge thank you to everyone who made the event such a success - the committee, greenkeepers, bar and restaurant team, volunteers and, of course, all the players who took part.

We’re proud to support events that bring our local community together, and it was a pleasure to be part of another memorable day at Les Ormes.

Congratulations to everyone who played. We’re already looking forward to next year’s event! 🏌️‍♂️
