This week, we’re breaking with tradition and shining the spotlight on someone very special. Our wonderful, ever-present CEO, Sarah Smithson! 💙

Sarah is celebrating an incredible 20 years at Stick 'n' Step this year, and everyone across our amazing charity would like to say a huge CONGRATULATIONS and an even bigger THANK YOU! 🎉🎈

For two decades, Sarah has been a constant source of support, encouragement and positivity. She is always approachable, always there when needed, and quite simply an amazing person who we all think the absolute world of. 💙

✨ A HUGE thank you! ✨

As part of the lovely makeover at our Runcorn Centre over the summer, we’d like to say a massive thank you to Chris Royle, Haier, Gareth Hennon and his wonderful team at British Gas for their incredible generosity. 💙

Thanks to you all, we now have a fantastic new TV for our parents’ room, a much-needed washing machine for our staff, alongside our beautiful makeover! 🏡✨

✨We strongly believe that children learn best when they are physically and cognitively engaged or challenged and genuinely having fun! This year, we had a bucket load of it!

William loves that all our mobility tasks are woven into play-based activities that disguise the hard work, along with cooperative play opportunities that help them progress together. This is a fantastic element of Conductive Education: the psychological aspect of group work, togetherness and problem solving. 💙

✨ We’ve had a little makeover! ✨

Over the summer holidays, our Runcorn Centre has had a fantastic facelift, thanks to Gareth, Steve and the incredible team at British Gas 👏💙

We’re delighted to now have a sparkling new parents’ room and reception bathroom, ready for our families to enjoy when they return in September. 🥰

A huge thank you to the whole team at British Gas for your hard work, generosity and support. We’re so grateful.💙
