Only signed up for the Gainsborough Half Marathon a week ago because I wasn’t happy with my time at the Great North Run.

I don’t know if revenge is the right word, but I definitely had some unfinished business! 😂

Went out today determined to prove to myself I had a better time in me, and managed to knock 14 minutes off my previous time! Absolutely buzzing with a new PB! 💪

And of course, I was wearing my Rotherham Hospice t-shirt, as always. It’s become a bit of a lucky charm for me now, but more importantly, it’s a charity that means a lot to me personally. I’ll always be proud to wear their colours and represent them whenever I race. ❤️

Still plenty of room for improvement, but days like today make all the hard work worth it!

On to the next one! 🏃‍♂️🏅

Life cover, critical illness cover and income protection aren't the same thing 👇

❤️ Life cover can pay a lump sum if you die during the policy term.

🛡️ Critical Illness Cover can pay a lump sum following diagnosis of a specified illness covered by your policy.

☂️ Income Protection can provide a regular income if illness or injury leaves you unable to work.

You don't necessarily need all three. It's about understanding what you want to protect and choosing cover that reflects your circumstances.

Morning all, Happy Monday! ☀️

I’ve had the best weekend with my boys and their best mate Tom!

Yesterday we all went to watch Tommy compete in his first South Yorkshire Cross Country race for Rotherham Harriers & AC, and he only went and finished 3rd! 🥉

Some whopping hills at Norfolk Park too, rather him than me! 😂

Back to reality today and I’ve got a real mixed bag this week. Remortgages, first-time buyers and new mortgage applications.

And yes, you heard that right, people are STILL buying houses! 🏡

Despite what some of the doom and gloom headlines would have you believe, the property market hasn’t ground to a halt. People are still moving, buying their first homes and getting on with life!

Anyway, enough from me. Have a cracking Monday everyone!
