Recently, our Client Services Director, Will McCarter, had the pleasure of attending The King's Foundation annual Building a Legacy Awards at the beautiful Englefield Estate.

This year’s theme, The Modern Estate Village, explored how historic estates can evolve to meet today’s social and environmental needs, creating sustainable, connected communities for the future.

The awards celebrated the people and projects bringing this vision to life, and it was fantastic to see their dedication and hard work recognised.

After bringing colour and joy to Newcastle and North Tyneside this summer, the Peter Rabbit™ sculptures from Tales on the Tyne are heading to an auction raising vital funds for St Oswald’s Hospice.

Last week members of the Lycetts team volunteered at the Yorkshire Children's Charity Sports Days, and it’s fair to say the experience will stay with many of us for a long time.

More than 400 children took part across the two days and from the moment they arrived, the excitement and joy on their faces was incredibly moving.

Our volunteers threw themselves into everything, from sports activities and fancy dress to mopping floors and even leading kung-fu dancing! Everyone played their part in making the days as special as possible for the children.

It was a powerful reminder of the difference Yorkshire Children’s Charity makes to young people who might otherwise miss out on experiences like these.

We’re incredibly proud to support Yorkshire Children’s Charity through our three year partnership, and thankful to the Benefact Group whose funding helped make the Sports Days possible.

A huge thank you to everyone from Lycetts, as well as our guests who volunteered their time and helped make the event such a success!

It was a full day of racing, teamwork and plenty of smiles! While we didn’t take home the win, we had a fantastic time and most importantly, helping to raise money for charity.
