Today I noticed one of my old posts from June had ruffled a few feathers…
37 people had commented to tell me that what I was doing was wrong.
And it genuinely got me thinking…
Just how confused some people must be.
What’s interesting is that the same post received 562 likes from people who clearly recognised the hard work that’s gone into getting myself into this position.
Yet those 37 comments were overwhelmingly from people who seemed to be struggling with the concept that a normal person can buy houses, rent them out, and use property to improve their life.
I don’t believe they genuinely think buying a house and renting it out is a bad thing…
Rental properties are in massive demand, and property has been one of the most established ways for ordinary people to build wealth and security.
I’m just a normal guy.
I’ve never come from money. My family has never had money.
I spent almost two decades in the military, and for a lot of that time I was in debt.
Yet the moment I decide to start buying property to protect my future and, more importantly, my daughter’s future…
Suddenly I’m the scum of the earth.
And I’m a “greedy git”
Apparently, wanting to change your financial future is something to be ashamed of.
And if you decide to stay broke you’re a good guy 🤷♂️
It’s absolutely bonkers.
Anyway…
Here’s me buying another 2 houses to rent out
