Christmas Eve has finally arrived and so we remind you that our branches and Head Office will close at 12pm today.

As we approach Christmas, here is a reminder of our branch and Head Office opening hours over the festive period.

During the quieter period between Christmas and New Year, we’ll be carrying out essential updates to our systems. This work will begin on 29 December and is expected to continue until 31 December.

During this time, our website, savings portal, broker portal, and email services may be unavailable for a short period of time.

Our branches will remain open in line with seasonal opening hours, and our team will be available by phone should you need assistance.

We appreciate your patience while we complete these improvements and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

🎅 Today we are at Smyths Toys Superstores on Portland Retail park doing our Secret Santa Appeal shopping!

This is from Mansfield Mayor - Andy Abrahams and his Mayoral500 Fund and The Mansfield Building Society who have each donated £500 toward the community appeal, so we have £1,000 to spend on toys/ books/ gifts/ games for the Mansfield district to ensure no one goes without a present from Santa in 2025.

But wait, there's more.... because of you incredible people, organisations and businesses, we have an additional £1,100 this year from the appeals GoFundMe page!!!

That's a total of £2,100 to help Santa and his elves support members of our community that may need a little bit of a helping hand this Christmas.

But wait, there's more...because Smyths are such an amazing and constant supporter of this appeal, they give us a discount and freebies, bringing the total closer to £2,500!!

We are so lucky, and so proud and so extremely appreciative of each and every one of your for making this year's Secret Santa Appeal even more magical.

We are now in the final week of the big Secret Santa Toy Appeal, in partnership with Mansfield District Council - My Mansfield and Mansfield Forward BID. The deadline for all collections is 7th December.

Members of our IT team joined other Forest Town Nature Conservation Group down at Spa Ponds Local Nature Reserve, a firm favourite for Society colleagues. looks like it was a great days work clearing down brush areas and planting new trees.
