It’s important to have a positive mindset, and stay true to yourself.
My mum died a year ago so that sense of loss is really hard to live with sometimes. There are moments on some days, for no apparent reason when it’s hard for me to keep thinking positively. So rather than staying in that low mood there are a few things that I do to help me keep on track.
Each morning I write down one thing I’m grateful for. I write it on a post-it note so it doesn’t have to chapter and verse. You could start to write a gratitude journal.
Everyday I pray 🙏🏾 The conversations I have with God are great as I off load what’s on my mind and I find he’s a great listener. 🎧
On my phone ☎️ I use the notes section and write out ‘5 things to do today’ I love ticking them off, as soon as I’ve done it things seem to feel better. ✅ 🤗
Do things that make you happy, listen to music 🎼 read a book 📚, volunteer, do some crafting 🧶 or go out for a walk 👣 to get some fresh air. How many steps have you done today?
So to keep up the positivity, look after yourself, do something everyday that makes you smile 😊 and keep working towards your goals. 📈
