After a 12-hour day, this is exactly what I needed 🐶🌳

Spent the day helping three clients get their Decisions in Principle over the line, despite a few walls along the way….

🧱Wall 1: Small deposit
🧱Wall 2: Short employment history
🧱Wall 3: Little credit history

Walls…..what walls?! All smashed 👊

Now it’s just me, Luna, and our walk to switch off. The best part of the day☀️

POV: it’s after 7pm, the doors are open, the sun is still out, Luna’s refusing to come back inside… and I’m scouting out new mortgage deals for rates coming off in October.

Im not going to lie, I’m mildly distracted by it being today 🍔🍔🍔

Just waiting for Liam to get home now to fire up the bbq again and crack open a beer! ☀️🍺
Definitely making the most of this sunshine as let’s face it, it will probably be cold and rainy next week!

What’s everyones favourite burger combo? I have to say, I’m a sucker for a classic cheese and bacon burger….always crispy bacon though 🧀🥓

Mortgage offer officially in 🙌

This one feels extra special because it’s been far from a straightforward case. Self-employed applicants, recent changes in entity and ownership within the last 12 months, lots of moving parts… definitely a case that required challenging conversations with underwriters and a strong presentation of the bigger picture behind the application.

A really great reminder that behind every mortgage offer is a real person, a real business and a story that doesn’t always fit neatly into a box.

Super happy for these guys….time for the solicitors to take over and get them completed 🏡💜

It’s an evening full of client protection meetings for me tonight so a late finish and a late Luna walk is on the cards. Although looking at the weather, it looks like there’s a break in the rain from 8:30pm so fingers crossed Luna and I will stay dry!!!🤞
