🇺🇸 IMPORTANT USA TRAVEL UPDATE – NEW REQUIREMENT FROM 4 NOVEMBER 2026 ℹ️
If you’re travelling to or via the USA, there is a new requirement you need to be aware of before you fly.
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has introduced a temporary travel measure aimed at reducing the risk of Ebola entering the United States.
✈️ What do you need to know?
Passengers must complete an Attestation Form within 72 hours of departure.
The form will ask you to confirm whether you have visited the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) during the 21 days before travelling.
📌 How do you complete it?
You should visit the website of the airline operating your flight to the USA, where you’ll find details of how to complete the form.
The airline will submit the relevant information before departure. Some airlines may also collect these details directly from passengers during check-in.
🌍 Travelling from or via other countries?
If you have visited South Sudan or Uganda within the same 21-day period, you should also check the latest CDC guidance, as additional entry requirements may apply.
⚠️ Our advice: Don’t leave this until the last minute! Check your airline’s latest guidance before travelling and allow plenty of time to complete any necessary paperwork.
As always check the official government website for any visa, health and entry requirements.
