40 years in finance! 🎉

This November marks a fantastic milestone for our Managing Director Steve Barrett, as he celebrates 40 years in the finance industry.

Starting his career at just 17 at Midland Bank in Trowbridge, Steve has seen plenty of change over the past four decades, but the importance of building strong relationships has remained at the heart of his approach.

As Steve says:
“A huge amount has changed over those 40 years, but for me the most important part of the job hasn’t. It’s still about people, building relationships, earning their trust and doing your best to find the right solution for them.”

A brilliant milestone and one we’re very proud to celebrate.

This July, our team is taking on the Great Wiltshire Walk to raise money for Julia's House 💙

Julia’s House is a local children’s hospice providing specialist care and support for children with life-limiting conditions and their families, helping them create precious moments together when it matters most.

We’re proud to support such an incredible charity. The distances we’re walking will be tough, but they don’t compare to the daily challenges many families face.

🌈 We’re getting colourful for a great cause...

This week, we’re supporting Children’s Hospice Week (15–21 June) with our charity partner for the year Julia's House, celebrating the amazing care and support they provide to seriously ill children and their families.

Our team will be wearing bright colours in the office to help raise awareness and show our support.

Encouragingly, many UK businesses are choosing to move forward with confidence, even in uncertain times.

Our latest article in The Business Exchange Bath & Somerset explores how growth is still very much on the agenda, but in more considered and strategic ways.
