Some cases are about more than just mortgages… they’re about moments that truly matter.

Recently, I had the privilege of helping a client’s son secure his first home — a huge milestone in itself. But what made this one especially meaningful was the reason behind it.

His mum, who is sadly terminally ill, wanted to see him settled and happy in his own place while she is still able to enjoy that moment with him. Being able to play even a small part in making that happen is something I won’t ever take for granted.

Messages like this remind me why I do what I do. It’s not just about buying houses — it’s about helping people create memories, achieve life goals, and support the people who matter most.

On Saturday, the whole team (and most of their partners!) got together for our annual Christmas Party 🎄 It was so great to see everyone suited and booted, and looking fabulous to celebrate another successful year.

We are so unbelievably proud of the whole team for their successes again this year, and this was well deserved!

Great couple of days spent connecting, learning, and sharing insights across the South West.

This past few weeks I had the opportunity to attend a Bank of England briefing hosted by Thrings in their Bath office. A really valuable session with thoughtful discussion on the economic outlook, monetary policy, and what businesses across our region are experiencing on the ground.

I also had the pleasure of joining the LinkedIn Local - Bristol event at Thrings in Bristol. Always great to meet new people, reconnect with familiar faces, and hear how others are navigating the market. LinkedIn Local continues to be a brilliant space for genuine conversations and real community.
It was really interesting to listen to Charlotte Carter and get some great insight on how to use LinkedIn to help grow your network. Charlottes positive and energetic attitude towards everything was infectious and I’ll certainly use some of her tips moving forward.

Huge thanks to Thrings and especially Joanne Campbell for hosting both events and to everyone who made the sessions so engaging. Looking forward to keeping the conversations going.

💙 A great day at Wiltshire Police Headquarters!

I was proud to sponsor a prostate screening event for serving officers and police staff — an important initiative helping to raise awareness of prostate cancer and encourage early testing.

Even had my own test done while I was there (turns out pulling off the plaster hurt more than the test itself! 😅)

It was also a great opportunity to support police officers & staff with mortgage and protection advice, helping those who dedicate their careers to keeping our communities safe.
