Alpha Phi: Wilfrid Laurier University

Alpha Phi at Wilfrid Laurier University Alpha Phis are members of a lifelong sisterhood, a women's fraternity.

Founded in 1872 by ten forward thinking women at Syracuse University, Alpha Phi is now one of the oldest and largest women's fraternities in North America. Our keystone is friendship: warm, simple and sincere. In Alpha Phi, there is encouragement, understanding and opportunities to grow. With members all over the world and collegiate and alumnae chapters throughout North America, our sisterhood knows no bounds.

I was recently selected to represent ALPHA PHI at the Disney Leadership Institute (Disney Institute) with Alpha Phi International (Alpha Phi International Fraternity).

This experience not only gave me an opportunity to meet more sisters but it was also an incredible opportunity for both personal and leadership growth.

Throughout the weekend we combined leadership conferences, where Disney Institute speakers shared valuable insights on what it truly means to be a leader and to communicate effectively, with hands-on field experience at Hollywood Studios and Epcot. We got a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to be a Disney cast member and saw firsthand how leadership shows up in the day-to-day magic of the parks.

We also made time to explore Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney Springs throughout the weekend. I’m so grateful to Alpha Phi International and our alumnae for making this weekend possible 🤗💗
