Rational Capital Investment Fund (RCIF) is a student organization aimed at providing University of Toronto students with both the tools to manage their own personal finances and a real-world security research and portfolio management experience, managing real cash and cash equivalents (real-life experience for those considering a career in asset management). In addition to general membership, whic
h entitles individuals to attend our regular seminars and meetings throughout the year, members will also have the opportunity to become research analysts, managing RCIF's growing securities portfolio. They will work closely with the executive team and board of directors, which includes faculty members and fellow students. Preexisting knowledge of economics and finance is not necessary: all are welcome and we strongly emphasize the importance of leveraging all parts of the University of Toronto community.
