Our two days away started with a few hours of learning from Daniel Pirillo. Lots of laughs, a few hard truths and some good reminders about leadership and serving others.

One thing he said stuck with me: “Do you remember the guy that gave up?”

After that, we headed to the Airbnb. Old Fashioneds, ci**rs, cards, some pool and the kind of conversations that keep you up longer than you planned. Plenty more laughs, too.

I came home with practical ideas to help me run my business better and better serve my clients.

But what I appreciated most was the time with good people who help me grow.

Grateful and humbled to be surrounded by people who make me better. 👊

Last night was just fun and inspiring. 💛

Great night catching up with old friends and celebrating what Team Addy has accomplished.

Over $1 MILLION raised for sarcoma research at SickKids. What Jessica, Dave, Alyssa and the entire Team Addy crew have built in just a few years is simply incredible.

One of the coolest parts of the night was hearing directly from Dr. David Malkin about the research they’re doing and what the funding from Team Addy is helping make possible. Hearing about some of the breakthroughs they’re working toward was incredibly inspiring.

Just an awesome night supporting some really great people doing something that truly matters.

My niece Emma lined up against a bunch of grown men last night and casually walked away with **SECOND PLACE.** 😂🔥

Watching her take off in that tractor had my heart pounding, but seeing how confident and fearless she is out there was pretty damn incredible.

I’m just the proud uncle on the sidelines with absolutely ZERO to do with her success… but you better believe I’m going to brag about it. 😂❤️

Keep kicking butt and taking names, Emma.

Perfect summer Saturday. ☀️🍻

BBQ, co****le, lots of laughs, great conversations, some trip talk, a little business… and a bunch of us huddled around the TV to catch the end of an epic Jays win! ⚾️🙌

Apparently we were having too much fun because this is about the best picture I managed to get. 😂🤦‍♂️

A couple of days... a lifetime of memories. ❤️

Year three at Scott & Sherry’s place, and somehow it keeps getting better.

Golf... where the golf balls disappeared faster than our scorecards. 😂

Pool days, nonstop laughs, Bobbi’s legendary “Hot or Not” show, flamethrowers 🔥, Steve checking *Watch Jaws while floating in a pool* off his Life List, and a Backyard Olympics where Cam and I delivered an all-time championship performance. (No need to fact-check it. 😎🏆)

The trip wrapped up with incredible food, ci**rs, late night swims, and conversations about life, business, and the future.

The best part wasn’t what we did. It was who we got to do it with.

Grateful for amazing friends, amazing hosts, and another unforgettable couple of days.

Already looking forward to year four.

✔️ Life List #61... CHECK. 🏀

Years ago, I wrote down a goal that seemed a little crazy at the time...

Play competitive basketball at age 50.

This weekend, I got to put a checkmark beside it and I got to do it alongside some of my best friends.

The funny thing is, this post isn’t really about basketball.
It’s about something much bigger.

One of the greatest decisions I ever made was sitting down with a blank piece of paper and asking myself:

“What do I want to experience in my lifetime?”

No rules.
No limits.

Just writing down places I wanted to go, things I wanted to try, people I wanted to meet, goals I wanted to achieve, and memories I wanted to create.

Some took days.
Some took years.
Some are still waiting for their checkmark.

The point isn’t whether the goal is big or small.

The point is that when you write it down, it has a way of changing how you live. You start noticing opportunities. You start making choices that move you a little closer.

And one day, you get to put a ✔️ beside something that once felt impossible.

Another checkmark.
More memories created.
