This morning the Bank of Canada has announced a .25% rate cut on its overnight lending rate. This means if you have a variable rate mortgage or credit products tied to the bank’s prime lending rate, your rate has been reduced.

This rate cut was widely expected due to economic factors relating to our economy and unemployment.
