We hold our clients accountable to the goals and dreams they share with us as being important in their lives. We tell the truth - clients are honest enough to share their life goals so we know WHAT they want to achieve. We also provide the pathway for HOW to achieve their goals. In our business, all of this is done because we understand WHY those goals are important to our clients. There may be times they don;t want to hear the truth; but achieving their goals relies on following the path we set which can mean uneasy and uncomfortable conversations, it can at times require changes in behavior but most of the time it results in rewards and alot of fun.

We're used to seeing firsthand how much Annette genuinely cares about the people around her, our clients, our team and the businesses and families we're lucky enough to work alongside.

So seeing her recognised nationally for the work she has spent so many years doing means a lot to all of us.

Sometimes you need a circuit breaker.

A chance to step away from the day-to-day, hear different perspectives, have new conversations and come back looking at things a little differently.

That's what Level Up gave our team.

For Eunice, a highlight was hearing the stories of successful women across so many different industries and leaving feeling inspired by what they'd achieved.

For Annette, it was also a reminder of just how valuable genuine connection can be.

One conversation over afternoon drinks led to meeting someone whose approach to business and values immediately aligned with hers. Since the event, Annette has engaged her to help navigate a challenge within FinBiz.

In a world where so much conversation is centred around AI and technology, days like Level Up are a pretty powerful reminder that trust, connection and face to face relationships still matter.

And we don't see that changing anytime soon.

The goal wasn't simply to step away from the business.

For these clients, the bigger picture was much more personal.

They wanted to retire, transition the management of their successful business to the next generation and build their forever home.

Three goals that, on the surface, might seem separate. In reality, they were all part of the same next chapter.

Over 18 months, a plan was put in place to bring the different pieces together, from the business transition and family wealth through to retirement income and creating the funds needed for their new home.

Because succession isn't just about what happens to the business when you leave.

It's about what you want life to look like when you do.
