A lot can change in a business over a few years, and it's easy to let your finance arrangements tick along without much thought 🤔
You might have taken out a loan when interest rates were different, your cash flow has changed, or your business has grown, and your original loan structure no longer suits what you're doing.
Refinancing isn't always about chasing a lower interest rate. It's also worth asking whether your current loan gives your business the flexibility it needs.
For example, could you benefit from different repayment terms, access to equity for business improvements or equipment, or consolidating existing debts to make repayments easier to manage?
Of course, refinancing isn't automatically the better option. Exit fees, establishment costs and the overall cost of the new loan all need to be considered before making a change.
If it's been a while since you've reviewed your commercial lending, I'm happy to review your current arrangements and talk through what options might be available.
