MASSIVE NEWS: We have just WON our campaign to get Palantir’s technology out of everyday shopping! 🎉

In response to a shareholder resolution SIX filed with GetUp, and the support of 189 shareholders, Coles wrote to SIX to say that they will not be renewing their contract with Palantir!!

This win wouldn’t have been possible without the unprecedented shareholder and community pressure put on Coles, and shows the potential that people and shareholders can have in pushing for change at big companies.

Together we got a company linked to ICE deportations, military targeting, and mass surveillance, out of our supermarkets!

Coles has partnered with controversial Silicon Valley AI company, Palantir, whose tech is behind ICE deportations, military targeting and mass surveillance. And we still don’t know what customer and employee data Palantir has access to.

The Save the skate campaign has made front page news in the Australian, after SIX, along with 230 Woolworths shareholders, filed a members statement. It calls on Woolworths shareholders to vote against the re-election of Woolworths board chair, Scott Perkins, at the company’s 2026 AGM!

Woolworths continues to tie itself to the potential extinction of the Maugean skate, by sourcing salmon from Tasmania’s Macquarie harbour. After two years of record breaking shareholder votes, the company has ignored shareholder concern and taken no real action.

This inaction lies with the Woolworths board, specifically its chairperson, Scott Perkins. That’s why we’re escalating our campaign and calling for shareholders to vote against his re-election at the company’s 2026 AGM.
