This World Environment Day we need to make it clear, it’s time for big business to stop fuelling plastic pollution!

That’s why SIX is teaming up with the Australian Marine Conservation Society and sustainable super fund Future Super, to get big business to stop fuelling plastic pollution.

We’ll be putting pressure on a range of companies to:
- Disclose how much plastic they produce each year,
- Set public targets for plastic reduction,
- And advocate for action from governments to make the transition away from plastics easier for all businesses

Head to the SIX platform today to keep up to date with how you can get involved with the campaign: https://www.six-invest.com.au/campaigns/big-business-stop-fuelling-plastic-pollution

Australia’s big four banks are enabling deforestation, threatening our wildlife and our climate. But we have a plan to use shareholder power to change that!

SIX is partnering with Australian Conservation Foundation to use shareholder power to pressure Australia’s four big banks to take action against deforestation - and this follows last year where we received a world-record shareholder vote at the ANZ AGM in favour of taking action on deforestation.

We can only do it again thus year with your support - find out more about how you can be involved with the campaign here: https://www.six-invest.com.au/campaigns/banks-are-funding-deforestation

It’s time for big business to stop fuelling plastic pollution!

Each year, 145,000 tonnes of plastic leaks into our environment. That’s 250kg per minute, harming our ecosystems, and our health. That’s why SIX is teaming up with the Australian Marine Conservation Society and sustainable super fund Future Super, to get big business to stop fuelling plastic pollution.

We’ll be putting pressure on a range of companies to:

Today is Endangered Species Day, so we wanted to highlight the need to take action to save the Maugean skate from the Tasmanian salmon farming industry. And its clearer than ever that we've got strong community support!

A recent report from the CSIRO shows that the social license for farmed salmon in Tasmania is at an all time low, with every stakeholder group, except for the Salmon industry itself, having an overwhelmingly negative view on the farmed salmon industry.

It’s time for governments and industry to get their act together and save the skate! Share this video to help spread the message.

Woolworths reputation is on the line over its part in the potential extinction of the Maugean skate as a result of their sourcing of toxic Tasmanian salmon. So why are they telling shareholders to vote against resolutions that would directly assist in fixing their reputation?

QBE Insurance rattled over questioning on its management of climate risk and governance at its AGM!

Last Friday, SIX and, our campaign partner , brought climate to the front and centre of QBE’s 2026 AGM by filing two shareholder resolutions on climate and governance, backed by over 120 shareholders.

The reality is simple, QBE should be able to answer questions from shareholders, experts, and the community, on its management of climate risk.

How can Woolworths call themselves the “fresh food people” when they label toxic Tasmanian salmon as responsibly and sustainably sourced?

Check out businessman Geoff Cousins call out the Woolworths board over their sourcing of toxic Tasmanian salmon, that is threatening the endangered Maugean skate, at the company’s 2025 AGM!

After two years of record-breaking shareholder votes, the Woolworths and Coles are still ignoring shareholders and failed the skate by sourcing toxic Tasmanian Salmon. It is clear that we need to send a stronger message to the supermarkets.

That’s why we will be targeting the re-election of their board directors at their AGMs this year, including Woolworths chairperson Scott Perkins if he runs for re-election.

We will be encouraging shareholders to vote no on the re-election of board members who are refusing take action for nature and to prevent the extinction of the endangered Maugean Skate!
