✨ Parramatta, we’re open again!

Our newly refreshed Parramatta branch is looking bright, modern and welcoming, and the team is ready to welcome members back into the new-look space.

During a recent visit, our leadership team spent time with the Parramatta branch team and connected with members to hear about their experiences firsthand.

What stood out most was the care, commitment and personal service our team brings to every interaction. It was also wonderful to hear from members who have been part of our community for many years, including some who have trusted us with their banking for more than 50 years.

The branch may have a fresh new look, but it’s the people and relationships that continue to make it special.

🌏 We’re proud to celebrate our partnership with Greenfleet this Earth Day!

Founded in 1997, Greenfleet has planted over 11.7 million native trees to create 580 protected native forests. Working with them is just one step in our broader sustainability approach, but we know that restoring and protecting forests is vital for our Earth.

Since 2023, Australian Mutual Bank has offset 4,604 tonnes of carbon dioxide through this collaboration. In 2025, Australian Mutual Bank further strengthened this partnership by supporting the planting of 720 native trees on behalf of our members at Three Cedars, on Bundjalung Country, west of Nimbin in New South Wales. This initiative contributes to biodiversity restoration, carbon capture, and the regeneration of native ecosystems, while also connecting members to tangible environmental outcomes.

This Earth Day, we’re reminded that every tree planted is a step toward a healthier planet, and we’re proud to be part of that journey with Greenfleet. 💚

Happy National Eucalypt Day 🍃

This year’s theme, 𝘖𝘶𝘳 𝘌𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘺𝘱𝘵 𝘏𝘰𝘮𝘦: 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘲𝘶𝘦, 𝘐𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦, 𝘛𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘥, is a reminder that eucalypts are at the heart of so many Australian ecosystems.

From providing vital habitats for koalas to supporting a wide range of native wildlife, these trees play an irreplaceable role in keeping our environment balanced, resilient and full of life.

The Eucalypt leaf is the centerpiece of the Australian Mutual Bank logo. It represents the 'Australian' element, and the two leaves joining symbolise our mutuality and common purpose. The rolling geometric lines reflect our progressive banking services and technology.

It’s also been a big year for us, with the introduction of Kaya the Koala, helping us share an even stronger message about caring for the places our communities and wildlife call home. 🐨

Today, we celebrate the quiet achievers of the Australian landscape and the role we all play in protecting them. After all, home is where the gum is! 💚

We’re thrilled to share that, with the support of our members, our Greenfleet campaign has reached its goal! 720 native trees have been planted at Three Cedars, on Bundjalung Country, west of Nimbin in NSW,

This vital revegetation project is helping to restore an ecosystem rich in biodiversity, cultural significance, and environmental resilience. Over 80 locally native species have been planted, including Bangalow palms and the endangered small-leaved tamarind, a rainforest tree now threatened due to land clearing.

By restoring this site, our members are helping to:

🌱 Provide habitat for koalas, grey-headed flying foxes, giant barred frogs, and rose-crowned fruit doves.

🌱 Enhance riparian areas for platypuses and native fish.

🌱 Rebuild an ecosystem that stores carbon, protects waterways, and safeguards threatened species.

This achievement shows the real power of community action. Together, our members are making a lasting impact on the environment, helping to protect wildlife and restore Australia’s natural landscapes for generations to come.
