𝟬𝟴-𝟭𝟭-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰
𝟭𝟭𝟯 𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮𝗴𝗼, I arrived in Australia to start my 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀, and it feels like no time, my first semester is already complete (results awaited). These months have been full-on— 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀, 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱. As I head to Dubai for a much-needed break, I’m reflecting on everything this journey has brought. The friendships, the challenges, and the lessons have been invaluable, and can’t wait to return refreshed for the next chapter.
As I look back, 𝗜’𝗺 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗺𝘆 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮. Each experience has taught me something new, and I hope to stay connected with all the friends I’ve made.
𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀-𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱, combined with the knowledge gained in Business Analytics at UWA, has been truly eye-opening. While the technical aspects posed challenges, it’s been rewarding to see how data drives smarter decision-making, and I’m excited to apply these insights moving forward. My 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻-𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗨𝗪𝗔 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, where I worked on assignments and group presentations, shared my academic and professional background, and connected with others.
𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆, but my sister, Nabina Khadka, has been a constant source of support throughout this journey, providing invaluable encouragement during challenging moments. After a decade, 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱, 𝗖𝗔 𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗵, has been truly special. His kindness and humility have always been a guiding force, and our regular meetups have allowed us to explore growth opportunities. 𝗠𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮.
This journey would be incomplete without acknowledging the 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘀, 𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗨𝗪𝗔.
Sir Huashan (Jason) Li ’s simplicity and supportive approach have made learning 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. He has always been willing to offer support beyond class hours, taking the time to clarify any doubts I encountered, particularly those related to challenges I faced in my professional career.
𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗲, but Sir Farhad Mohammad, PhD made both statistics and math truly engaging. 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁. Additionally, Tutor Sydney Hoh has been incredibly supportive during workshops, and I’ve learned a great deal from her. I am truly fascinated by her teaching skills.
Two completely new subjects, 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 and 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, involved technical details that I had never encountered before, making it a 𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆. However, Lecturer Apphia Jin and Lecturer Yanli Lin gave their best in both teaching and workshops, making these subjects more accessible. Additionally, Lecturer Tristan Reed and Tutor 𝗞𝗵𝗮𝗶 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗺 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗺𝗲, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗻𝗼 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱, by simplifying and clarifying programming concepts. Their guidance played a crucial role in my understanding of these technical subjects.
𝗧𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗺𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮—𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝗗𝘂𝗯𝗮𝗶 and experience its incredible beauty, safety, world-class infrastructure, and the unmatched pace of development. It’s a place that never stops growing.
